Original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.

Passport-type photographs: 1

Tourist Voucher. Copy of tourist voucher issued by tourist company or hotel in Russia approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Former citizens of Russia MUST submit a Certificate of Renunciation of Citizenship from the Russian Embassy.
Former citizens of Soviet Republics MUST submit a copy of their old passport, even if they are no longer valid.
Russian tourist visa applications are accepted only within 90 days of the proposed entry date to Russia. Please apply only within 90 days of the date of travel.

Letter of Invitation. Copy of a business letter of invitation approved by the Russian Ministry of Interior or the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. OR Telex number with the name of the inviting organization. (Business letter of invitation may be obtained through VisaHQ at an additional cost - see fees below)
